چکیده
Background: Pulmonary embolism (PE) is a serious clinical condition and difficult to be diagnosed. The aim of the present study was evaluate serum adropin ischemia-modified albumin (IMA) levels in patients with PE.
Materials Methods: consisted 109 participants, including 50 PE 59 healthy individuals. diagnosed through computed tomography pulmonary angiography (CTPA) were included into study. Serum IMA concentrations measured by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay kit. Results: had higher (607.5±205.1 ng/mL) lower (2128.6±801.8 ng/mL), compared those controls (505.5±231.3 ng/mL 2466.9±1044.9 ng/mL, respectively); however, difference not significant. In study, we found weak negative correlation between (p=0.020, r=-0.348).
Conclusions: our among PE, there no significant levels, although atropin concentration high, low. So, consider that both are inappropriate markers for diagnosis

The value of ischemia-modified albumin compared with d-dimer in the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism
STUDY OBJECTIVE The primary aim of this study was to investigate whether IMA levels are helpful in the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism (PE). The secondary aim was to determine whether IMA was more effective alone or in combination with clinical probability scores in the diagnosis of PE. Thirdly, the sensitivity and specificity of IMA is compared with D-dimer both with and without clinical proba...
